Have you ever just been stuck on what to do with no idea where to go for an unbiased opinion and advice?
Ag- Q Connect has the answer
(Well, one of our expert local (to you) agronomists does.)
Whether it be deciding if you should replant, herbicide concerns, or maybe storm damage, we have you covered because the agronomists in your area are already doing all of those things. We will connect you with a local consultant that will give you a one-time recommendation on your specific question. It’s fast, it’s easy, and it will help keep the Nebraska Ag Industry thriving. We want to keep independent agronomists prevalent in the area, because sometimes big companies and biases can put people in echo chambers.
Ag-Q uses the 8 crop reporting regions across Nebraska to divide producers and independent consultants into. We have created a technology platform to connect you, the producer, to an agronomist in your region for a one-time recommendation that will address your crop concern. This is beneficial to you because they will be making recommendations to their contracted customers on similar issues you may be experiencing. As a local agronomist, they will be seeing the same weeds, pests, storm damage, etc. on their customer’s fields. This will be beneficial to you so you don’t have to go to an outfit without the extensive knowledge of an agronomist, a biased opinion, or hear “coffee shop talk” about current ag issues and fixes. These are experienced agronomists giving you their best recommendations.
PAYMENT: one-time per issue,
per field fee of $350
This covers the agronomist’s time, fuel, and recommendation. Agronomists have 7 days to get your recommendation back to you from the day it posts. The best way to get the most from this service is to connect with us as soon as you see, or hear, of the issue in your field or area.
For example, if you have a concern about how your crop will pollinate due to pest pressure, submitting your request 10 days before the crop is in pollination will give you the most benefit from this service.
The image to the right is similar to what you will receive from the agronomist assigned to your field and concern.
Questions you may have, but are not limited to:
Sufficient plant population/replant decisions
Weed and herbicide concerns
Storm damage/related issues and second opinions
Insect and disease recommendations
Questions on crop vigor (answer to what went wrong so they don’t do it again)
Water schedule/final irrigation (we will have a start date they can begin asking about final irrigation- likely the 3rd or 4th week in August)
Yield estimates

This is not a yearly contract, this is a one-time recommendation per field, per issue for your specific concern. If you have more than one field you want looked at, they are separate recommendations. The Agronomist will look at the specified field, for your specific concern/question, and then they will give you a recommendation on how to solve the issue for that concern.
